“ This is my favorite bar in Detroit. The first time my partner and I went in, we didn't know anybody and there was a sense of an established community. It can be intimidating entering such an atmosphere, but the owners made us feel more than welcome and included us in conversations and even introduced us to their friends. Now, three years later, there are very few places that I feel more important than I do at the Lex. It's always fun, everyone is super nice, the staff is great, the drink selection is great. I cannot say enough about this place. ”

“ Came here solo for a nice cocktail. I had the Lobbyist Lament which jad a very very nice smoky flavor and was incredibly smooth. The second and 3rd drink I tried was the "thanks for last night" if you like citrus flavors and especially grapefruit definitely try. The atmosphere was chill and cozy. The bartenders are cool and attentive also but not overbearing. As someone who's typically getting drinks alone I don't care for. The space was playing rock music but is was good and they do live music so if you're into that or want a place to perform hit em up! Parking was free and easy and there's a little street parking. I was there on a Thurs but definitely can see the place getting packed on weekends. A great date location to of you're looking for that ”
